I used one of the Happiest Place Collection foiled patterned paper and a retired CTMH stamp set.

{Sun} Sweets: Variations on a Theme- Floral Celebration Cards

 Hello, Kraftie Friends!!!

I made a few cards with a basic design, but different colors & patterns...the original is the one-layer colored card on the left:

I used Floral Celebration (CTMH) and stamped the flowers in different colors, then colored/outlined some using Glitz Sea Sparkle Markers (Jane Davenport).

The card on the right is monochromatic (for a challenge) - I just colored the main flower and sentiment with a blue Glitz Sea Sparkle Marker.

The third card is more layered (see below). I put it next to the one-layer card for comparison:

I stamped the flowers on a smaller panel, and added the sentiment on a banner. I also cut out the main flower and added on the card with foam dot for more dimension.

Technique {Tue}: 2 Cards + Background Techniques Video

 Hello, Kraftie Friends!

I re-edited some old videos and made a compilation video of background techniques for paper crafting to post on YouTube (see below).

I also used variations on a couple of the techniques shown to create cards for some challenges...

First, I did random stamping on a panel. Then, I trimmed into little squares to make this slimline card for a sketch challenge:

Floral Celebration Stamp Set

For Card #2, I used a stamp set I bought years ago, but never used it...until now! I watercolored a panel using ink from my ink pad lid + water. Then I stamped an image, cut it out and adhered on a stamped panel with foam dots. Then, I added sequins from my stash:

{Sun} Sweets: CTMH August Stamp of the Month - Floral Celebration Cards

Hello, Kraftie Friends!!!

I have a few cards for a few challenges today...

I tried to resist but I was too weak...I decided to make some slimline cards, especially after finding the CAS Colours & Sketches #381 Sketch Challenge and being inspired by DT Julie's card.

Card #1 is 3.5" x 8.5" and the color theme is from Shopping Our Stash #425 Challenge.

I had these zig-zag die cuts in my scrap box, so decided to finally use them! The die cuts are left overs from an overlay (CTMH Cricut Artbooking Collection).

Card #2 is also a slimline card and I created it for a color challenge - Color Throwdown #604:

Card #3 is regular size and for another sketch challenge - Sunday Stamps #236 - and I combined with The Library Challenge #64 theme...I was inspired by the cover and created my mini domed "terrarium":

Hello, Kraftie Friends!!!

I'm excited to share that I'm in a YouTube Video Hop with a few kraftie friends today!

It's my first Video Hop, so I apologize in advance if my video is not great...sometimes, my fan gets really loud...but hopefully it's ok.
