Cups of Tea...

Saturday, January 15, 2022

 Hello, Kraftie Friends!

Here's a card using a retired SOTM (Stamp of the Month) stamp set...

...but it has some stamping techniques I wanted to show you! I stamped tea bags on card base without re-inking a few times (generational stamping) and sentiment was stamped in black. The stack of cups were stamped in black on my own printed paper (using my gel plate + dye inks). Details were colored with alcohol-based markers.

If you don't have a gel plate, just tap some ink on a craft mat/plastic sheet (or drop some ink from refill bottles), spray some water and squish paper on. After it dries, stamp designs on.

Challenges:

1. The Color Throwdown #675

2. STAMPloration Jan CAS: Anything CAS Goes + optional color twist Rainbow

3. Mix It Up #57: AGoes + optional foiling

4. Gem of a Challenge #2: Card Making & Craft Challenge - AGoes

Hello, Kraftie Friends!!!

If you're just starting in your cardmaking/papercrafting journey and you only have some white cardstock, 1 Black ink pad and 1 Stamp Set...check out these 4 Black & White Card Ideas!!!

I'm using supplies from my Close To My Heart Consultant Kit:

I started with white cardstock that are not included, but you could use the packet of cardstock that comes with it...that will be one of my next videos...creating cards with the cardstock and patterned paper provided!

I have a process video in my ***NEW*** YouTube Channel
(some videos in the old one got messed up and don't make sense after YT made some changes, so I'm fixing and uploading them in the new channel. Please, check it out and subscribe!!!)

Please, visit my CTMH shop (click HERE or https://lilian.closetomyheart.com/) and let me know if I can help you with anything!
