Today, we're featuring Perfect Poinsettia:

And here's my card:

I cut an overlay on my Cricut and adhered it on the colored card base. I printed the image and sentiment, cut out/trimmed + mat them and added them to the card. I colored the poinsettia with Copic and colored pencils and added some dimensional paint in the center.
Finally, I added some sequined embroidery thread.

MHKDesigner Inspiration: Wonderful Bottle Card

Saturday, October 8, 2016

Hello, Kraftie Friends!!!

It's my turn to post at MHKDesigns' Blog today...here's my card, using Beautiful Bottles digital stamp set:

I cut an overlay using my Cricut and adhered on card base. I printed and cut out a bottle from Beautiful Bottles, adhered it on card and trimmed off excess. I printed the sentiment from Beautiful Bottles, added a black mat and adhered on card.
I blended some Brilliance Pearlescent Purple ink pad using a mini round blender tool, then added some pearls.

Don't forget to take a look at the MHKDesigns Etsy Shop!

Washi Meets...MHK Designs - Furs & Paws + Decorate to Celebrate #107

Wednesday, August 19, 2015

(I have another post today...if you're looking for my Word Art Wednesday project, please click HERE)

Hello, crafty friends!
I have lots to share today! This is the second post AND I have 2 projects, one using Washi Tapes (are you still addicted?)...I didn't want to split it, otherwise I would have 3 posts!!!

Create anything 3-D for a chance to win a prize from Rhonda!

This was my first attempt at an (explosion) box card. This one is more simple, just "one layer"...

Closed...

Opened...

I used Mini Books Cricut cartridge for the box.
I love the 3-tier cakes that I see on Pinterest, but for this one, I ended up using my Artiste CTMH Cricut cartridge for the hexagon cake, flowers and the square lid.

*********************************************************************************

And the second project is for MHK Designs
My friend Mynn started an Etsy Shop and she has digital stamp sets and patterned papers for sale!
I'm showcasing Fur & Paws today!

Here's the stamp set:

And here's my card:

I used washi tapes...as my patterned papers. I found some wide ones at Michael's on clearance!
I colored the dog with Copic markers...hum...I just realized I didn't add a shadow for the dog...oh, well, too late! I already took the picture...
And I added a black enamel star (CTMH) near the sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by!!!
