Watercolor Love You to the Moon Card

Thursday, September 18, 2014

I had some extra inks (green and blue) left from another project, so I decided to use it on lots of textured papers...now I have a little pile of watercolored papers! =)

For today's card, though, I used one of my favorite techniques - clear emboss resist - before I watercolored the paper...

Unicorn Dreams (Hostess stamp set)
Glitz Glitter Gel
Others:
Clear embossing powder
Heat Gun
reinkers in green and blue
paintbrush

3. WAW #150: Anything Goes

Washi meets...Christmas Scooter Card

Wednesday, September 10, 2014

Here's a card I made today...
...please, enjoy it for a looooong time...since my 3yo son N somehow got my acrylic block with the scooter stamp while it was drying...and the stamp went PUFF, PUFFT, GONE! Bye-bye! Forever!
I guess that's the bad thing about polymer stamps...they are CLEAR! And HARD to find!!! =)

Supplies (CTMH):
D1617 Make it Merry
D1455 Be Jolly (hostess stamp set)
Others:
washi tape
VersaMark ink pad (I stamped the scooter on the turquoise paper)
Glossy Accents

I'm entering it in the following challenges:
1. Merry Monday #125 {Transportation!}
2. WAW #149: Anything Goes
3.  CASology Week #112: Three (I used 3 techniques: paper piecing on scooter, simple scene stamping and used Glossy Accents as dimensional element)
4. H2H Challenge: Share your favorite Stamp or Stamp Set

Thanks for stopping by!

Hello Summer Card

Saturday, August 23, 2014

This card is for a few challenges...

I cut a honeycomb overlay from the Artbooking Cricut Cartridge (CTMH) and used it as a stencil. After the modeling paste dried, I used PearlEx Watercolor CD for some shimmer...but I must say it didn't work out exactly the way I wanted...so I had to add more colors using ink pads (I tapped some ink on my craft mat and added water, then colored with a paintbrush).
Finally, I added some stamped elements, the teal shimmer trim and some gold shimmer spritz.

Challenges:
1. MMMC #3: Stencils with Modeling Paste
2. Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge: Tropical Trip
3. SSS Mon Challenge: Anything Goes
4. WAW #146: Anything Goes
5. H2H Challenge: Inspired by...a Movie (500 days of Summer)
6. TMMC Challenge #2: {Summer}

Supplies:
C1595 Hello Summer (CTMH)
Artbooking Cricut cartridge (CTMH)
teal Shimmer Trim (CTMH)
Summer (Hero Arts)
Modeling Paste (Liquitex)
gold Sheer Shimmer Spritz (Tsukineko)
Memento ink pads

Have a nice weekend!
