My Crush Blog Hop

Saturday, June 6, 2015

Hello,

Welcome to the CTMH Summer Crush Blog Hop!

If you came from Nikka's Blog, you're in the right place!
If you want to start from the beginning or get lost along the way, see the complete list HERE.

This post is part of my Project Scrapbooking26 (PS26#12)!
I planned to post pocket scrapbook pages with embellishments today,  but since I'm participating in the CTMH My Crush Blog Hop, I'll have to postponed that...sorry! =(

This will also be my last Blog Hop with my fellow CTMH consultants...I'll drop as a hobbyist consultant end the month...I purchased too much stuff! Now I have to use it up! =)

For this hop, we're using My Crush books and Assortments...here's my project:

I'd like to link it to:

I used the BlueBird book and Assortments (layered papers and stickers).
Shapes and "Oh Happy Day" card were cut with Artfully Sent Cricut cartridge. I heat embossed the flowers in Neon Yellow and the branches in green. I added paper flowers and pearl gemstones on flowers.
I trimmed the 3x4 card a little bit, rounded the corners again and sprayed it with a metallic green mist.
Black patterned paper mat was cut with Artbooking Cricut cartridge and I added some silver washi tape here and there!

Your next stop is Pam's Blog!

"I'm a new DT member! And really excited to be on the team! Now, I'll have an excuse to use my Cricut more! =)
I'm a fairly new Cricut owner (I purchased my E2 end of 2013...before that I was using a Slice) and I have about 13 cartridges. I don't have the Explore...yet! =)
I've been stamping and crafting for over 10 years now...
I'm glad you could stop by!

Welcome to the Artfully Sent Blog Hop!

If you have come here from Haley's Blog, you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around.  If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants HERE.

This month, we have 43 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this exclusive CTMH Cricut cartridge. Just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one!

Here's my card...

The cut-out cards from the cartridge are a perfect match for 2-sided patterned papers!

This is how I made this card:
1. Cut the card using white daisy cardstock
2. Mask the frame around the roses, and heat emboss them in red
3. Add glue and red glitter on a few of the "petals"
4. Cover the frame with washi tape
5. Cut a 2-sided patterned paper to size and adhere on the back of the front panel (I also adhere patterned paper on the adjacent side, but you could just leave it alone...)
6. Stamp sentiment and adhered with foam tape
7. Stamp a flower, color it with Copic and ShinHan Touch Twin Markers, and adhere using foam tape
8. Add gemstones on corner of the card and center of stamped flower
9. Add sentiment on inside of card

Here's the inside (I also colored the leaves with ShinHan Touch Twin marker):

Supplies (CTMH):
Artfully Sent Cricut cartridge
Lovely Birthday stamp set
White Daisy cardstock
Ivy Lane B&T paper (retired)
Foam Tape
Others:
VersaMark
Red embossing powder
Heat Gun
Red Glitter
Glue Pen
ShinHan TouchTwin Sap Green and Tender Pink markers

National Stamping Month #30YearsofHappy Blog Hop: Meet the Scraplings' cousins!

Saturday, September 6, 2014

Welcome to our National Stamping Month #30Yearsof Happy Blog Hop!

We will be featuring #30YearsofHappy, a set of 30 stamps.
If you have come here from Lalia Harris' Blog, you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around.  If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants HERE.

This month we have around 40 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this stamp set and other great CTMH products on their blogs. This is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go!

Have you met the Scraplings' cousins before? If not...here they are! The Skinnies!

Mini Cards:

Tags:

Instead of the usual 1.25"x4.25", they are 1"x4.25" (I get the Skinnies when I use a 12"x12" piece of cardstock to make two A2 cards and "forget" to trim 1" off the bottom first).
I used different stamps and embellishments (paper flower, sequins, washi tape, thread...) to create the mini-cards and tags.
Then, I added some stamped images with 3-D foam tape.

Supplies (CTMH):
#30YearsofHappy stamp set
3-D Foam Tape
Z1931 Honey Triangles Washi Tape
Z1920 Gold Polka-Dots Washi Tape
Others:
paper flower
metallic thread
hole punch

Now "Hop" on over to Haley Dyer's Blog to see her work! Be sure to visit all the Consultants at their Blogs to get some great crafting ideas and other fun ideas! Remember, the #30YearsofHappy is only available until September 30th!  Contact your CTMH Consultant (or click HERE) to see how you can get this stamp set for free!

Damask Divas Blog Hop: Timberline

Saturday, May 31, 2014

Hello,

Welcome to the Damask Divas Blog Hop!

If you came from Michele's Blogyou are in the right place.
If you have jumped here and just discovered our Blog Hop, feel free to check the list at the Damask Divas Blog to find the complete list of Blog Hop participants.
We're featuring the Timberline Paper Collection this month.

I was on vacation in April, and I'm going to use a Smash Pocketfolio (a huge Smash book) to scrapbook the trip.
Here are some of the (planned) layouts:

Please note that that is a composite...my printer has failed me again!!! As I was printing out the photos, some inks decided to run out! =(
I would have preferred the photos with white borders, for more definition...but I didn't bother to do it digitally.
I used Cricut Artbooking and Art Philosophy cartridges to cut out the elements. And I used the stamp that came with Timberline Workshops on the Go
 Scrapbooking Kit.
The quarterfoil patterned paper under "Great Outdoors" is from Skylark paper packet.

Here's another project, using the paper, wooden embellishment and stamp set from the WOTG kit. The background was cut using Cricut Artbooking:

This paper packet is great for masculine cards and projects! I'll probably give it to my father-in-law for Father's Day...since he is an outdoor type of guy!

Your next stop is Danielle's Blog...hope you enjoy our Blog Hop!

And don't forget to check CTMH's June Promotions HERE.

P.S. I'm entering the card in Word Art Wednesday Challenge #134: Anything Goes and Simon Says Wednesday Challenge Anything Goes.

Damask Divas Blog Hop: Lollydoodle

Friday, February 28, 2014

Hello,

Welcome to the Damask Divas Blog Hop!

If you came from Amie's Blogyou are in the right place.
If you have jumped here and just discovered our Blog Hop, feel free to check the list at the Damask Divas Blog to find the complete list of Blog Hop participants.
We're featuring the Lollydoodle Paper Collection this month.

I used the paper that came in the Workshops On The Go™ Lollydoodle Cardmaking Kit. After cutting the papers for the set of 15 cards, I used the "scraps" for my projects (I just didn't follow the cutting guide...so I ended up with more paper to play with!). I know...what a rebel...=)

Here are my projects:
Card:

And a 8x8 layout:
After I took the pictures, I realized I didn't tuck in some feathers in the fold (top left corner) as planned...

I made it for my niece, so the plan is to put it in a black frame. I didn't take a pic with the frame, so here's what it would look like:

Supplies:
C1584 Feathers
Stamp set from the Lollydoodle Cardmaking Kit
Z1807 Pink Glitter Gems
Artbooking Cricut Collection
White Daisy Cardstock

Your next stop is Sharon's Blog...hope you enjoy our Blog Hop!
